LGD’s Guide to a Festive Holiday Season
Christmas is two weeks away which means it’s time for all of the fun, cozy Christmas festivities! If you’re looking for ideas of how to get into the holiday spirit, look no further; our team has created a list of our favorite things to do! We’ve included ideas and activities for you and your family, friends, and some that are exclusive to AZ!
HOLIDAY TO-DO’S WITH FRIENDS + FAMILY:
Get a permit to cut down your own Christmas tree & make a day out of it! We realize most of you hopefully have your tree by now, but you’ll want to save this idea for next year. Permits are only $25 as of 2024.
“Put up the yard blow ups.” Lexi and her family caved a few years ago and surprised the kids with some Christmas inflatables. Now, they get a new one every year to add to their collection and it has become one of their favorite things! “Brings me way more joy when pulling up to the house than I ever thought it would.” -Lexi
Grab your favorite warm beverage and walk around a cute neighborhood full of Christmas lights. (If you’re in Gilbert, AZ we recommend hot chocolate from the Coffee Shop and a walk around Agritopia for Christmas lights.)
Christmas Movies of course! Make it a goal to watch two a week in the month of December.
Cut snowflakes and paper chains to decorate kid’s spaces with.
Pictures with Santa.
Host a “Favorite Things” party with friends.
Shop all the local small businesses.
Cookie decorating party (with family & friends)!
Shop for stocking stuffers and turn it into a date night.
Cookie exchange with coworkers or friends.
Grab your best-friend and have a gift wrapping night! Order take-out, make a yummy drink, and turn on a Christmas movie.
